Baseball is what brought my Wife Arlene & I together back in May of 1980. We have been to Phoenix, AZ. for Spring Training before, right after the Dodgers moved their Spring Training program from Vero Beach, Florida to Camelback Statidum in Pheonix, AZ. in 2008. What makes this so special is that Everyone there is there for the same reason which is to see their favorite teams and players never mind that we all Love Baseball.
We didn't think we were going to be able to go this year as all the RV parks in the Phoenix area were booked. What to do? We belong to a service called
boondockerswelcome.com which provides locations of private property owners who allow you to land your tent, camper, trailer or 5th wheel on their property for up to 5 days. I found a location in Peoria, AZ. which was centrally located to all the ball parks we wanted to go to so I made a reservation for 5 nights. Our Hosts Tom and Roz were the BEST and most accommodating. We had so much fun, we're going back again next year!
